

The recording contains original material written for the tour, arrangements of celebrated movie soundtracks and reworkings of popular melodies from the Gargano province of Puglia. Marino, Fano Jazz, Bologna Jazz Festival, Maratona Jazz Modena, Emilia Romagna Festival, Koblenz Festival, Marajazz, Suoni in Cava, Jazz in Lamis, Orsara Jazz, CMPR Jazz Festival in Puertorico etc. He has performed in various international jazz arts festivals such as Umbria Jazz (fourth edition), Urbino Jazz, Le Grande Parade Du Jazz de Nice, Festival Jazz de Samois-Fontainebleau, Comacchio Jazz, Festival de Rouen, Festival Jazz del Monferrato, Festival Jazz di S. In May 2003 he was musical director and composer for the 'Superstar' programme on Rai 2. He made a weekly appearance on the variety show 'Mai Dire Goal', also appearing on Italio Uno as well as appearances in the first few years of the 'Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo trio'. He has taken part in television and radio programmes on Rai and Mediaset Channels. He has toured with theatre companies and composed music for theatre productions by actors Paolo Rossi ('Milanon Milanin', 'Canzonacce'), Antonio Albanese ('Psicoparty') ed Enrico Bertolino ('Lampi Accecanti di Ovvieta'). He has collaborated on recordings and tours with important italian artists such as Lucio Dalla, Renzo Arbore, Pupi Avati, Claudio Baglioni, Paolo Conte, Vinicio Capossela, David Riondino, Francesco Baccini, Alfio Antico and Roberto Freak Antoni.


Teo has played concerts with famous jazz musicians such as Gerry Mulligan, Eddie Gomez, David Sanchez, Jeff Berlin, Luis Bonilla, Lou Fisher, Roch Peckman, Gary Keller, Matt Marvuglio, Jim Snidero, Jimmy Rivera, Fidel Morales, Efrain Martinez, Paolo Fresu, Marco Pignataro, Hiram Bullock, Greg Yasinisky, Antonello Salis, Cheryl Porter, Roy Paci, Fabrizio Bosso, Dhafer Youssef, Daniele Scannapieco, Stefano Di Battista, Henghel Gualdi, Gianluca Petrella, Mauro Ottolini, Piergiorgio Farina, Paolo Damiani, the Doctor Dixie Jazz Band, singer Ruggero Raimondi, flautists Giorgio Zagnoni and Andrea Griminelli, poets Davide Rondoni and Roberto Mussapi and actors Enzo Moscato and Piera degli Esposti. Teo has been teaching jazz piano at the Convervatorio 'Frescobaldi' in Ferrara since 2006, and since 2007, he has been teching jazz piano at the Conservatorio 'G.B.Martini' in Bologna.įrom 1985-2000 Teo taught music alternately at 9 different secondary schools in both Foggia down in Puglia as well as in Bologna. In 2007 he successfully completed his thesis on the American jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, obtaining his masters music degree specialising in jazz piano at the 'Buzzolla' conservatorio in Adria.

He now lives in Bologna where he works putting on concerts, teaching and promoting artistic events.Ī graduate from the faculty of Fine Art, Dance, Music and Theatre (DAMS) at the University of Bologna, with a thesis analysing the stylistics of jazz in the 1950s and 60s, he has hosted seminars on jazz improvisation at various public institutions University of Siena, the Koblenz conservatoire, the "O Vecchi" music college in Modena, the municipality of Bologna, as well as in various private institutions.
